Outdoor Retreat Ministries
First United Methodist Church has initiated Outdoor Retreat Ministries to enjoy fellowship with those of all ages in our church family. We enjoy a variety of outdoor events, including tent camping, staying in cabins and RV’s and cooking together as we enjoy God’s beautiful creation in this unique outdoor retreat ministry.
Other activities include hiking, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, flying kites, children’s activities, geocaching, biking, reading a good book, relaxing in a lawn chair, and just exploring the state parks and other retreat areas we choose to enjoy. We always share together in worship and fellowship around the campfire (s’mores included!) in the evenings.
If you enjoy being with others in God’s other great sanctuary on weekend retreats or special day trips, please contact Rev. Chuck Graff (email@example.com) at 817/339-5065.

Please join us on 5th Street as we celebrate our amazing Outdoor Retreat Ministries.
Several times over a number of years, Rev. Chuck Graff has led an amazing retreat in the wilderness of Ontario, Canada. All men interested in this exciting outdoor retreat adventure and fishing from September 15 – 24, 2017, are invited to an informational meeting to learn more.
Whenever the FUMCFW Outdoor Retreat Ministry hits the road, our compass always points to good adventure in the great outdoors. From destinations deep in the heart of Texas, around the Beavers Bend in Broken Bow, and across the Great Plains to Canada, we’ve been all over the map — in our neck of the woods and beyond!
